Friends of the Bailey Library Meeting
Meetings are held the 3rd Thursday of each month at 5:00 pm.
The Friends group creates public support and sponsors programs designed to add to the life of our library and our community. It also contributes direct financial assistance to purchase items that the library budget cannot provide.
Membership fee per person is $12.00 annually. Anyone can become a member and is encouraged to participate in the meetings and/or sit on the board. New Friends members are welcome. Please contact the library for more information.

- Daily used book sales at Judy's Place, which opens 30 minutes after the library opens and closes 30 minutes prior to the library closing.
- Monthly silent auctions
- Espresso machine coffee sales
- Annual Wine and Cheese Social
Shop and browse the Internet from goodsearch.com and help our Friends group raise money for our library.
If you are interested in reading during our children's story hours, shelving books, lending a hand at the bookstore, etc., please drop by the library and ask for a volunteer application. We are interested in hearing from you!

50th Anniversary of Apollo Landing Event
Join us for lemonade and cookies.
The astronomer giving the presentation is Charles O’Brien (age 20 and he will be a Junior this summer at the Colorado School of Mines studying Mechanical Engineering and also an intern at Lockheed Martin Aerospace). Charles is also President of the Colorado School of Mines Astronomy Club (which has 360 members). Charles plans to have a PowerPoint presentation combined with a scale Lego model Saturn V rocket that he assembled, Moon globe(s) and materials from the Night Sky Network’s toolkits about the Moon.
